Kalawathy Rajaram

Madam Kalawathy holds a degree in Nursing Management from Universiti Malaya (2004) and a Diploma in Nursing (1991). She is a qualified Ministry of Health trainer for Food Handler training and has completed GMP training in food safety. Her passion is teaching and training so people can make a positive impact on lives and health.

She believes her teaching experience is an asset to organisations that engage her to meet their quality and standards. Her greatest strength is a clear understanding of clients’ needs, and helping them reach their goals. Previous roles taught her to work independently and to coach subordinates to a high level.

She is a trainer with De Chanla Global Sdn Bhd and Ruha Consultancy. She lectures in soft-skills management — including stress management, anger management, and communication skills — as well as Food Handlers Training and Good Manufacturing Practices. She also lectures on therapeutic communication skills, report writing, and safe practices in nursing.

As a Nursing Manager she supervised departmental staff performance, ran counselling sessions when required, and delivered planned teaching and training. She was accountable for total quality management of the department, including decisions on facilities and manpower.
